  • Solutions, fast: Rapid Prototyping

    Rapid prototyping contributes to implement customized solutions professionally and even more efficient.
    Prototypes are created directly from CAD files. The used ABS food grade material withstands performance tests under realistic conditions and results can be obtained close to the final product. Furthermore the used material can be machined and optically finished.
    The development time from the design to the final product is reduced significantly by rapid prototyping.

  • Solid knowledge: Laboratory

    Before a new product – grinding disc or complete grinder – reaches sales, the product is tested thoroughly. Following methods of testing and validations are possible.

  • Proof of quality: Particle Size Analysis

    Influences of grinder, discs and used coffee beans are continuously examined and analyzed with a particle size analyzer. Results can be scientifically analyzed and verified.
    The particle size distribution or “the grind profile” is recorded with the particle size analyzer and behaviour and characteristics can be inferred during preparation and in the cup.

  • Value trough quality: Material Research

    Materials (metals and ceramics), production process and coatings are continuously analyzed and improved. This way, multifunctional grinder discs with a longer life are developed.
    Performance data (coarseness, grind profile and output) can be customized according to your needs.

  • Quality in the cup: Extraction Tests

    Ultimately, it only counts what ends up in the cup. In the laboratory brew tests are performed on customer request. Various espresso machines and filter brewers are available. The results are analyzed scientifically (e.g. Gold Cup Standard) and by tasting.
