2004: Further expansion of grinding discs production & product portfolio with the introduction of new built-in grinders (OEM).
2002: Market introduction of the KDS Coffee Dosing System with integrated grinder and scale. Expansion and modernisation of the entire production and assembly sector including development of the strategic marketing and distribution activities.
1999: Expansion of the product portfolio. The unique first KDS Coffee Dosing System is developed and released for field testing.
1998: Ditting Maschinen AG focuses on coffee grinders and achieves a leading position worldwide. The production of meat cutting machines is discontinued.
1992: On change of ownership, Ditting AG is renamed Ditting Maschinen AG.
1987: The coffee grinder sector is expanded. Development, sales and distribution of built-in coffee grinders for fully automatic coffee machines.
1979: The car body repair operation is sold. Ditting AG specialises in the manufacture of machinery for the food processing industry.
1976: The manufacturer of food processing machinery is transferred to the new factory building in Bachenbülach.
The car body repair operation remains in Zurich.
1972: After the death of Adolf Ditting, the company is converted into a stock corporation. Ditting AG is born. So that the company can handle a higher volume of production, the construction of a new factory building for the mechanical engineering activities is approved.
1954: The manufacture of food processing machinery is expanded. Electric coffee and poppy seed grinders and nut graters are developed, produced and distributed.
The distribution of coffee grinders is successively expanded to all 5 continents.
1944: Diversification. Development, production and distribution of meat cutting machines.
1928: The firm of Ad. Ditting Carrosserie established in Zurich by Adolf Ditting. Manufacture, modification and repair of car bodywork.
